Bronson is modelling dog coats

In January Bronson (here with foster sister Tink) showed off their new dog coats very nicely.

The total Package!

In January, foster mom Lisa took the boys on a fun outing:
A few days ago I took Thelmalou, Buckwheat, Bronson, Bogie and Tinky-Pie for a romp in the woods. Our hike was about 4 miles long and consisted of open prairie, deep cover and woods. This type of training is incredibly advanced and as I started with 5 dogs I was happy to finish with 5 dogs. Tink is able to track me- as I see her put her nose to the ground when she can’t find me. Bronson’s recall is amazing and Bogie is quite reliable but he is the most independent of the pack.

I attribute their good training to Thelmalou and Buckwheat as they are solid in the woods and anywhere we go off leash. They teach the dogs to check in and as Thelmalou can get rangy once in a while- she always comes back in consistently. It is such a pleasure to train these dogs and because they are so good- I just can’t let them go to any old hunter or family. They are skilled hunters and trackers now and only the best adopter will be approved.

At the end of our hike, Thelmalou found a deceased Mallard which she was happy to carry around for a bit. I took it as an opportunity to see who else would retrieve. Bronson is the complete package; he hunts, points, retrieves, plays fetch, and most importantly is a COUCH potato and is so easy in the house.

Never had it so good!

That every dog can feel the safety of contentment of a comfy couch and a warm home! This time last year Bronson (here with foster buddy Pooh) was probably very cold in an outdoor kennel. No Good ‘Ol Boys for him- EVER AGAIN!!

Agility!! What Fun!

Foster mom Lisa took Bronson to the agility class she was giving.
A proud foster mom could pronounce that Bronson has a natural flair for agility.
It's a joy to watch that boy in action!
Lisa is crossing her fingers that a wonderful active family will come along for Bronson that will continue agility and other outdoor adventures with this very active boy.

What a Point

We shot a blank gun over both boys on Saturday. Pooh was fine but Bronson was a little frightened. He has a lot of potential- it would be nice to get him on some birds and help boost his confidence.

How I Love Thee

How I love my brother Pooh.... Let Me count the ways!
1) He is the bestest brother ever
2) We have soooo much fun together
3) we want to stay together forever and ever and ever
4) He can point just like me
5) He make a great cuddle budy when a human isn't available
I can go on and on.... did I mention you can have both of us.. WHAT A DEAL!

When Your're Good your GOOD!!!!

I am great at agility and well any things else that I do. Did you know I could fly! Check me out!
